At Volunteer Federal Savings Bank, we’re committed to investing in the next generation of leaders who will shape Monroe County’s future. That’s why we proudly offer the Volunteer Federal Savings Bank Scholarship, designed to support students in furthering their education while inspiring them to consider their impact on our community. As part of the application process, students will submit an essay answering, “How will you contribute to Monroe County’s growth and financial stability in the next six years?” A selection committee will review applications and choose recipients who demonstrate determination, resilience, and a passion for making a difference. Each year, two graduating seniors from Sequoyah High School, Sweetwater High School, and Tellico Plains High School will be awarded a $2,500 scholarship to help them pursue their higher education goals.
